Charles Anderson

Charles Anderson is an artist and designer who, for thirty years now, has exhibited in Australia and around the world. A founding director of Stutterheim / Anderson Landscape Architecture (SAALA), Charles is also a registered landscape architect and a senior lecturer in the School of Architecture and Design at RMIT University. His practice vagrantly inhabits the worlds of art, architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, performance and fashion, and he himself embraces collaboration—he’ll mix together generative procedures to rejig the spatial hierarchies of the lived areas in our world. Together with Jondi Keane, Charles is testing the limits of both humans and robots in a new exhibition (slash laboratory space) at RMIT Design Hub called Technics & Touch: Body-Matter-Machine, running from 11 December 2015 to 30 January 2016.
