Johannes S Sistermanns’s art practice involves moments of transition and the space in-between. Words he uses to describe his work include media, multi-channel electro-acoustics, radio art, SoundPlastic, sound art, performance, music theatre and sonic notation. No matter the name or the piece, Johannes blurs the edges, lets gaps grow and explores the unexpected, unrepeatable and unclosed. After performing at 2015’s MOFO, Johannes brings liftoffwehaveliftoff—a work from his series Intuition Room—to MPavilion this October, courtesy of Liquid Architecture.
