Karli White
Karli White is a producer, composing and performing music that hints at influences of new wave, techno and R&B. She experiments by layering heavy, reverberating beats and soft vocal melodies with obscured acoustic samples.
Starting her music project in Perth in 2013, Karli launched her first songs on Soundcloud, from her bedroom. She relocated to Melbourne in 2014, where she released her debut full length, Karli White’s Childhood Scissors, and composed a short film soundtrack—to be released on Comfort Cassettes in February 2016.
Karli performs a solo live set and has thus far supported an array of Melbourne heroes including Ausmuteants, Pearls and Gold Class.
