Maree Grenfell

Maree Grenfell is coordinator of the City of Melbourne’s Resilient Melbourne project—formed as part of the Rockefeller Foundation’s 100 Resilient Cities program, which helps cities adjust to the modern world’s shocks and stresses. Through her position, she encourages innovative thought, examines the basic qualities of human relationships and raises critical awareness of urban adaptability—all in aid of developing a world-class resilience strategy for Melbourne. Maree is passionate about influencing positive change and working for our planet and its people; her goal is a community-centred future in which cities and human wellbeing are interdependent.
