Marshall Weber

Brooklyn-based artist Marshall Weber has been producing work in a variety of mediums—artists’ books, collage, photography, video, social practice and performance art—since the 1980s. He is the head curator and co-founder of Booklyn, an artist-run not-for-profit that aims to help artists document, exhibit and distribute their artwork. Marshall’s own work explores concepts of audience, language, travel and the expansion of public space, and he is well-known for his outspoken advocacy for artists and cultural organisations that work outside of the conventional academic and commercial art world.
