Moya McFadzean

Dr Moya McFadzean is the senior curator of migration and cultural diversity in the humanities department at Museum Victoria. She has curated (and co-curated) numerous exhibitions at Melbourne Museum and the Immigration Museum—including Identity: Yours mine, ours, showing since 2011—and develops the museum’s ever-growing migration collections. Moya has presented and published papers, both in Australia and overseas, on representing migration histories in museums, and on museums as places for engaging with challenging issues, and as sites of social activism. She is currently working on a touring exhibition on post–World War II British migration, which will open at the Immigration Museum in 2017.
