Star weaving with Lisa Hilli

Brush up on those hand-crafting skills—or learn some from scratch—by weaving stars from ribbon in this free workshop with artist Lisa Hilli and the young curators from Signal’s Signal Summer program, a summertime creative arts program that invites all young people aged between thirteen and twenty-five to work alongside professional artists in a jam-packed series of workshops, conversations, exhibitions and performances.

Lisa is an artist, educator and passionate advocate for Pacific people and culture. She co-founded the Pacific Women’s Weaving Circle in 2010, and has co-directed and produced multiple film projects exploring contemporary Pacific identity in Australia and the Solomon Islands.
