Abe Nouk

Abraham ‘Abe’ Nouk is a spoken word poet, MC and author—and the founder and director of youth music and spoken word collective Creative Rebellion Youth. Abe—who firmly believes that “the best thing you can do for yourself is to feed your mind”—arrived in Australia from Sudan in 2004, and learnt to read and write as a way to improve his hip-hop lyrics. In 2013, Abe came third in the Australian National Poetry Slam and self-published his first collection, Humble.
