Andrew McConnell

Andrew McConnell is the executive chef and owner of five of Melbourne’s favourite restaurants: Cumulus Inc. and Supernormal on Flinders Lane in the CBD; Cutler & Co. and the Builders Arms Hotel on Gertrude Street, Fitzroy; and Luxembourg Bar & Bistro in St Kilda. Inspired in large part by his travels abroad, Andrew’s passion for exceptional and often-unusual seasonal produce has earned him respect from the local (and international) dining public, as well as his peers: he has thrice been honoured as Chef of the Year by The Age Good Food Guide. Andrew’s most recent Melbourne ventures include Meatsmith, a specialty butcher and wine merchant on Smith Street in Collingwood, and Marion, a wine bar right next door to Cutler & Co.
