Loose Leaf

Loose Leaf is a floral studio and plant store run by partners Wona Bae and Charlie Lawler. A green oasis in the backstreets of Collingwood, the nursery has, well, blossomed since its roller door opened for the first time in April 2014. Wona, a master in kokozi (Korean flower arrangement), teaches wreath making, terrarium building and table arranging amid the jungle of fiddle leaf figs and pothos plants, and she and Charlie regularly lend their green thumbs to Melbourne weddings, businesses and festivals. Most recently, they installed a sky garden in Melbourne Central, created floral bonnets for Melbourne Spring Fashion Week and sculpted grand leafy chandeliers to hang in Saba’s Melbourne stores.
