Charlotte Cornish

Administration Assistant at MPavilion

Charlotte Cornish is the administration assistant at MPavilion. Charlotte has studied at and worked in local and international arts organisations both small and large, refining her interest in curatorial practice and engaging with artists in the contemporary field. She has extensive experience in exhibition management, installation and communications. Currently completing her Master Art Curatorship at the University of Melbourne, Charlotte is undertaking a formal internship at the National Gallery of Victoria in the Curatorial Contemporary Art department with Max Delany.

From 2012 to 2015, Charlotte worked at Utopian Slumps as gallery assistant and gallery manager, alongside the gallery’s founder and director Melissa Loughnan. While there, she curated her first exhibition: Infinite Variety. From 2012 to 2013, Charlotte completed a six-month internship in the marketing department at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City, and has previously worked at Sophie Gannon Gallery and Leonard Joel Specialist Auctioneer’s and Valuers, both in Melbourne. Charlotte has previously studied at Monash University, Melbourne, and Sotheby’s Institute of Art, New York.
