Aurelia Guo is an artist and writer from Melbourne. An accomplished poet and performer, she was a recipient of the Wheeler Centre’s Hot Desk Fellowship in 2014 and used the opportunity to complete her poetry series The Weather Report, which includes “found and self-authored fragments” that explore the internet, daily life and social interactions. Aurelia’s work is very reactive—she also writes poetry in response to exhibitions she attends. We can’t wait to see what she comes up with after speaking at ‘Invisible hands make light work: Art and unwaged labour’—part of this season’s Consortium series of art and design conversations.
