Helen Kontouris

Helen Kontouris established furniture and product design studio Helen Kontouris Design in 2001, and has since collaborated with international clients including Alessi, De Padova, Schiavello and Kundalini. Inspired by her observations of everyday experiences, by people’s interaction with objects and by the fresh perspectives gained from travel, Helen creates products—simple and colourful stools, coat stands, ottomans—that invite exploration and intimacy through her signature use of contrasting materials, shapes and form.
