Rowan Oliver is a multidisciplinary, non-binary transwoman artist working on Wurundjeri Country in the Kulin Nation—also known as Melbourne. Her artistic practice encompasses many formats, including moving image, performance and poetry—and she divides her time between it, work, the internet, hanging out with her friends and more. Throughout 2014, she curated a series of party events called Cute, which incorporated performance, photography, music and poetry, and has had work showcased in public sculpture exhibition Rising, A Sinking Feeling at Punk Cafe, curated by Rare Candy, and Merry Crisis at Departure Lounge, curated by Louise Dibben. In November 2015, she will be part of Witness, a group show at Minerva curated by Marian Tubbs.
