There’s no denying that the internet has opened up a plethora of new opportunities (or Google Chrome tabs) for communication and collaboration between people who may never otherwise have had the chance to connect. But remember a time before cat videos, when trolls were something that lived under a bridge? Forget autocorrect, super-likes and swiping right: the girls behind Ladies of Leisure (LOL) invite you to hang out, catch up and make like-minded friends IRL.

While the lines between ‘virtual’ and ‘reality’ become increasingly blurred, head back to friendship basics with this good old-fashioned group hang. Mingle with new mates over tasty treats and good tunes as you focus on the importance of communication in the real world. (Though Instagram is most definitely encouraged.) Open to all.

Following a series of successful workshops in 2015, LOL Hang Times focus on helping young women make meaningful connections both personally and professionally.
