Alexander Gow writes songs (and tour diaries) and is the beating heart of the Melbourne-born, world-travelling indie band Oh Mercy. His music draws from rock’s great, eternal themes—love, loss, pain—and great, eternal icons: Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Burt Bacharach. He has performed countless shows to support the four full-length albums he has produced in the last six years—the most recent of which, When We Talk About Love, is the sound of somebody making something truly personal.
