David Chesworth makes art: music, sound, video, installation and performance. As well as being a solo recording artist and composer of experimental opera, David was a co-founder of the seminal post-punk experimental group Essendon Airport and a coordinator of the Clifton Hill Community Music Centre. With long-time collaborator Sonia Leber, he’s created a number of large-scale public art commissions using the human voice as a principal medium. Their two-channel video work Zaum Tractor is currently showing in Okwui Enwezor’s fifty-sixth Venice Biennale: All the World’s Futures.
