Eva Birch

Eva Birch is a writer and PhD candidate at the University of Melbourne. Her research explores sacrifice, objectivity and the commodity status of women in the work of Belgian-born French feminist, linguist and cultural theorist Luce Irigaray. Eva is co-founder of Feminist Theory Group—which recently participated in ‘FM[X]: What would a feminist methodology sound like?’, a four-night series of performances, talks, interactions and more by women artists, presented by Liquid Architecture. Eva’s recent essay ‘Post nothing boy’ was published in un Magazine—and her essay ‘Selfish’ will soon be too.
