Gertrude Contemporary

Gertrude Contemporary is a non-profit art gallery and studio space in a former textiles factory on Gertrude Street, Fitzroy—and a leading institution for the production and presentation of contemporary art and ideas. It fosters a culture of risk, collaboration and critical thinking through exhibition, studio, curatorial and education programs, as well as collaborations with like-minded institutions both locally and overseas. Offering space to exhibit, work on and publish new art, Gertrude Contemporary ensures its artists remain at the heart of its community.
