Paul Bangay

One of Australia’s most high-profile landscape designers, Paul Bangay is known for his commissioned works on high-end residential and country property projects, both locally and overseas, and he has published seven books featuring many of the projects he has undertaken in his twenty-five-year career: The Garden at Stonefields, Paul Bangay’s Guide to Plants, Paul Bangay’s Garden Design Handbook, The Defined Garden, The Boxed Garden, The Balanced Garden and The Enchanted Garden. In 2001, he was awarded the Centenary Medal for his contribution to Australian landscape design.

Paul designed the perennial borders of our inaugural MPavilion in 2014—a contemporary and colourful array of ornamental grasses, wispy agastaches, salvias, gaura and achillea—and again lends his talented green thumbs to the garden beds and borders that surround AL_A’s 2015/16 MPavilion.
