Susan Cohn is a Melbourne-based artist jeweller. Through her work she explores the typology of jewellery and the different terms on which it is valued. She trained in gold and silversmithing at RMIT University, Melbourne, and holds a PhD in fine art theory from the University of New South Wales.

Susan’s broad understanding of design and making has also enabled her to work as a designer for Alessi, as a curator for the Design Museum, London and as editor and writer for Rizzoli International Publications, New York. She is the current artist trustee at the National Gallery of Victoria. Susan is represented by Anna Schwartz Gallery, Melbourne.
