Artist Film Workshop presents ‘Structuring Space: Cityscapes in experimental cinema’ screening night

Meet us at twilight when Artist Film Workshop hosts ‘Structuring Space: Cityscapes in experimental cinema’, a screening night of 16mm films that take inspiration from AL_A’s MPavilion design. Including work by AFW members Dianna Barrie, Hanna Chetwin, Lorant Smee and Richard Tuohy, these films will interrogate how our concrete-and-steel buildings and bridges inform the way we look at cities around the world—and they’ll reinterpret and reconstruct our idea of urban environments. Also running through the evening’s spools: a selection of films from the National Film and Sound Archive by Shirley Clarke, Anne Pollak and Paul Winkler.
