Update: Due to Wednesday’s forecast high temperature, Green Pavilion’s morning and afternoon sessions have merged into one three-hour morning workshop, running from 9.30am to 12.30pm. Sprinklers and spray bottles will be provided for plants and participants alike.
Research by the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health has proven many positive effects of green space on childhood development. In this free flora-filled workshop, curious creative duo tin&ed and bespoke floral studio Cecilia Fox invite participants to turn MPavilion—and themselves—into green spaces. Using foliage and other natural materials, this plant-play session is designed to allow kids to interface directly with nature, and encourage young workshoppers to consider and seek out green space in their daily lives.
