Guy Abrahams is a co-founder and the CEO of CLIMARTE, an organisation that, like Guy himself, is passionate about harnessing the creative power of the arts to inform, engage and inspire action on climate change. A lawyer before becoming director of Christine Abrahams Gallery—a position he held for twenty-two years—Guy has also been a board member of both the National Gallery of Victoria Art Foundation and the Melbourne Art Fair, and president of the Australian Commercial Galleries Association. He currently sits on the City of Melbourne’s Art and Heritage Collection Advisory Panel and its Public Art Advisory Panel, and is an associate of the University of Melbourne’s Sustainable Society Institute. Guy holds a Masters of Environment focusing on climate change policy, and received training from US vice-president Al Gore on climate change communication.
