ACO quartet evening performance

Join us for an intimate evening performance from four of the Australian Chamber Orchestra’s finest soloists. As the late-summer sun sets on the first half of the week, the quartet—led by Richard Tognetti, the ACO’s lead violinist and artistic director—will play its way through a program of beautiful classical music, its staccatos and crescendos filling up MPavilion’s canopy and flowing out into the surrounding gardens. Sit back under the stars and be mesmerised by four members of one of the world’s most lauded chamber ensembles, whose 2016 season is built around Beethoven’s late—and remarkably complex—string quartets.
